USS Batfish Living History Day! ~Muskogee War Memorial Park

We went to the Living History Day at the USS Batfish for my oldest.

It was his birthday Monday so we wanted to be sure and do something he liked that weekend.

He loves learning about battles and especially the World War 1 &2 so this was perfect.

The boys liked spotting pictures of themselves from previous trips.

He was pretty excited about the big guns.

All the volunteers our so great with kids!

Little bit did not appreciate the engine room sounds they had going.

We went to visit the Batfish for their Living History Day Saturday!

I really like these events and highly recommend going during one.

My husband was able to come with us this time!

He said he had not been on a naval vessel in a long time.

The volunteers are so nice at these events!

Great job guys!

My youngest boy kept asking how powerful all the weapons were.

Thanks for answering all of those questions!

Living history event at the USS Batfish ~Muskogee, OK

Last Saturday was the living history event at the USS Batfish in Muskogee!

That means that the museum and submarine were filled with people dressed up in period clothes to answer questions.

My boys were pretty excited to get to go in the submarine again!

I really enjoy being around others who appreciate history.

We recognized a few of the people from other events!
