Monday’s just seem hard.
Everyone is adjusting to the change after a weekend.
So a lot of times I make Monday our library run and plan a stop at the lake.
This time we had lots of rain to fill the lake and make the waterfall full, birds were everywhere, and it was a beautiful morning.
Helped a lot after a rough start!
How do you like to start your week?
I consider this lake mine.
I go there often enough it should be.
I had Nick make a special trip just to see the lake after we had a bit of snow.
I go almost every day but thought for sure I would miss something if we did not go right then…

I thought I could come up with something funny and clever for this picture I got of a duck while out canoeing with my family(FYI 7 people in a canoe will get laughs…).
Then I realized it is six in the morning and I use up all my brain power on my 5 kids.
After I got over my fear of one of my kids dumping us all in the lake the canoe ride was not too bad.
Not calm but not bad.
Also, we may need a bigger canoe.
