Self Portrait ~Day 9

I will admit it.

I did not like the photos I took on day 7 or 8.

So I am not sharing them.

Because I can do that.

I had been putting off taking them until the end of the day and that was a BIG mistake.

I decided to take them first thing this morning.

Much better.

These were taken after the boys spent some time in timeout for pulling and hitting each other to get in the picture.

Lest you guys think every morning is comprised of laughter and snuggles.

They are boys.

Still love them.

Self Portrait ~Day 1

When doing a photo challenge I usually try to think of something I need to work on.

I am going to do a self portrait (with my boys mixed in) challenge because I would like to play around with shots around my house and in my yard.

I would also like to play around with posing.

Taken in early morning light by a east facing window.

50mm, F/1.6, ISO 100, Shutter 1/100.

I faced the window and held the camera to take these pics.

I usually use a tripod but decided to see what I could get hand held.

I like to practice on myself because I can see what I want easily and am available at a moments notice!

Instead of having no pictures of me, the boys will probably complain that they have too many!

Getting caught up.

Here are some of my 30 Day pics that I have not shared yet!

Day 15

School

Day 16

Games

Had to share his silly face!

Day 18

I let my husband take this one.

We do a lot of hiking and walking so I wanted to include it in my “life” project but I could not figure out how I could set up a tripod and get a shot I wanted of us walking.

I decided I wanted the shot even if I was not the one taking it.

Day 19

I wanted a shot of our hands while walking.

This was the best I could do with one hand while walking!

Have a great day and make sure you capture a moment to remember!
