My little men

I have committed myself to taking a self-portrait everyday for a year, looking back this might have been a bit of an overcommitment.

My boys enjoy going outside with me to take pictures, not to actually be in them. They just want to play.

So while I am trying to take this

I have decided to try out the whole 1 self-portrait each day for a year. I am trying to include my boys since I do not have many pictures that include all three of us.  I also need a lot of idea’s on how to keep children interested in taking pictures for my photography, so it is win win. Six days in and I am already feeling the pressure! Something I did find out though, any picture upside down is a good one! My three year old really liked this and asked the next day if we could take another picture. Any families want to hang around together upside down for me? Your kids will love it!

Day1

Little Eyes what you see

I love being around children and seeing something from their point of view, having two little boys and also from trying to find things that would interest a child when I take pictures of them has helped me to see so many beautiful things that I would have missed. Snow is always new and exciting (especially in Oklahoma) to my sons and when I look through there eyes I see a wonderland! Leaves and Grass are wonderful treasures and bubbles always bring a smile. I think one of the privledges of being around children is being reminded of how wonderful God’s creation is and remembering what it was like when I was a child and everything was an adventure.
