He has one tooth hanging low from falling off his bike.
My boys seem to feel the need to traumatize their poor mouth.
I love that smile.
I am cherishing my last week with a 5 year old!
Only a couple more days left and he will be 6!
We stopped by the Tulsa Children’s Museum on Friday which just happened to be one week before my littlest turns 6!
I started taking pictures of my boys the week before their birthday three years ago.
I then had a two year old turning three…
My almost six year old spent a lot of the time there playing with the boxes they have set up to use like blocks.
He can build things for hours.
Wondering where big brother went?
I did inform him he had to help some with the building and not just the destroying.
It seems like my little man has changed overnight.
Crazy.
I cannot believe my youngest can build things like this.
It does make his insistence that he cannot pour his own cereal look a little flimsy.
Can’t wait to spend the rest of this week capturing moments with my little man!
I am now 30.
I really do not have a problem with that. Most of my friends are in their thirties.
What I did not count on was my feelings of panic that I did not end my last day in my twenties in a big way.
I was suddenly sad last night that I was not out hiking in the ozarks or watching the sunset over a lake.
I wanted to take off for the nearest lake but dinner was on the stove.
I settled for a self portrait and a walk in our backyard in between the moments dinner needed my attention.
I also made myself a pumpkin cheesecake and ate half of it…
Eating half of a cheesecake will always make you feel like you are celebrating.
