Last days as a 6yr old!

Wasn’t I just doing his 5yr old pics?

lastdaysasa6yrold

He loves adventure.

He jumps when he is excited.

Which means he jumps most of the day…

off

He is also a little character and keeps me laughing through the day.

go

I am going to enjoy my six year old this week and look forward to what seven will bring!

poleHe requested that a fireman pole be added to their fort for his birthday.

Nick said they can’t use it until his actual birthday.

I am having a harder time waiting then they are…

Last Day as a 7yr old! I dropped the ball…

I realized today that my son turns 8 tomorrow.

I remembered his birthday at least but I forgot to take his birthday week pictures!!!

I have been taking a picture of my boys every day on the week before their birthday for 3yrs.

Except this year because I forgot!

what

I know!

Shocking!

who

and a bit terrifying…

happy

but at least I remembered on his last day!

smile

This kid amazes me in his ability to invent.

He decided to study anatomy today so that he could build a human like robot.

He has also taken up running and he is awesome!

Like a fish to water that boy runs like he was born to it.

almost8

He ran his first race this past year and loves the medals and “junk food” at the races.

I am pretty sure he is going to be my crazy ultra runner keeping up with his dad.

I am writing it here so I can come back some day and say that I called it!

I can’t wait to see what this soon to be 8yr old does next!

Last days with a 5 year old ~super moves

myboytree smileHe is smiling because he is mimicking me.

I want to thank whoever taught my boys that…

No really, who did?

movesHis new thing is to have me take pictures of his super moves.

legobatmanThis is apparently how lego batman jumps.

At least that is what I am told.

One more day with a 5 year old!

It is so much harder to let my littlest grow up!

Quick tip: After years of taking pictures of my boys jumping off things, I have found setting the focus to Continuous works best.

You can get in really big trouble for missing an amazing jump…
