Where the magic happens.

It seems like there are quite a few people that are curious about my backyard.

I take a lot of pictures out there.

So here she is!

That spot to the left is where I get shots like this one.

My husband made little trails around it for the boys to use.

I am sure my clients are glad they do not have to wade through the tall grass the whole time.

I think wading through the grass gives it an African safari feel…

If you look in this one you will see a chain link fence in the back.

That marks the end of our property.

It is woods behind us so it makes it seem even bigger!

This shot below was taken this morning in the spot to the right in the above picture.

It is one of only six pictures I took!

My friend Stephanie was actually taking pictures of her parents with her two little girls.

I was just hanging out shooting some video to play around with.

It was really hard to not take a lot of pictures instead though!

I love my yard.

I am so glad that my husband puts up with me and my need for a photo shoot worthy yard.

I wonder if he would be okay with turning his shed into a studio for me?

Probably not…

My workspace ~before & after

I am going to be honest with you. I tend to set things down wherever is the most handy at the moment.

It leads to my desk looking like this…

Need to see more?

It can make you feel closed in.

I decided enough was enough and it was time to clean up my editing space!

My husbands parents where also coming down for a couple days, I found that to be a really great motivator.

There was a desk under there!

Who knew?

Editing should now be a much more pleasant experience.

Let see the before again.

After

I want to thank my in-laws for coming down and making this makeover possible.

My boys ask if someone is coming because I am cleaning the house…

Maybe if we had more people over my house would stay cleaner?

Probably not.

Happy Monday!

Boys Room Before&After

This is a picture of the boys room from over a year ago.

Someone(me) forgot to take pictures before everything was taken out for the new floor to be put in.

After! I love it!

My husband made the bunk beds(we will get twin mattress’ eventually) and put in Engineered wood floors.

I did the map wall.

Please do not look too close.

I love it, I really do but I am a little too impatient and really bad at planning.

So there are some wrinkles and maybe not all of the maps are perfectly straight.

I did find this link from someone that seems to know what they are talking about a little bit more than me if you are interested in how to do this.

These next two pictures look about the same but I did have their dresser in that spot right before we redid it.

I just forgot to take a picture…

The picture on the left is the older one.

I decided to put the toy bins in their closet now instead of on their bookcase.

Another attempt to battle the mess of toys that goes throughout the whole house.

I am hoping that by making them less accessable they will not trip me as often.

We will see if it works.

Did you notice the little boy in the picture? I can’t believe how big he has gotten! Look at that little tummy…

I wonder if I can go back in time?

Or maybe just make it stand still.

My new beautiful floors!!!

My husband did such an awesome job!
