A pain but worth it!
I am still working away at my 365 project. Sometimes, it makes me want to pull my hair out. I groan and whine to my husband that I want to throw in the towel. No one wants to have to take a picture of themselves everyday for a year, right?
But images like today’s remind me why I am doing it.
Maybe I won’t whine so much.
Maybe.
No thanks.
I think my youngest is too smart for his own good.
His older brother when he looses a privilege or does not get a special treat for bad behavior is heart broken. He will apologize, cry and be down all day.
My youngest on the other hand…
Me: “you don’t get any candy Caden because you were not listening”
Then when I go to give some to his brother.
Caden: “no thanks”
Me: “I was not offering you any”
Caden: “no thanks, I don’t want any”
Me: “Caden, it was not your choice. You got in trouble”
Caden: “no thanks”
This will go on and on. He pretends it was his idea, like he never wanted the candy. He is not upset at all.
He is two.
Is it bad that my two year old has figured out how to outsmart me?
