My opportunity to think pink

My friend Stephanie over at A Creative Fox decided to give me a little time to think pink.

Her husband planned a weekend BY THEMSELVES (unheard of for parents of small children) and she let me watch her two precious little girls!

My boys love them and once they came to our house, thought they should stay forever.

I tried to explain that we did need to give them back.

My oldest is still not sure why.

Thank you Stephanie for letting me peek into the world of pink.

Some of these pics are from the week before when I watched them for a few hours.

I like to think of it as a warm up for the next weekend…

Is there anything better then a friend pushing you on a swing?

Yep, capturing it on the camera!

At the end of the weekend I was convinced I could not handle four kids right now.

I forgot to eat and did not care.

Four meals to prepare.

Four bedtimes.

Four naptimes.

Four coats to be put on and four shoes (eight shoes! I did not let them all run around with one shoe on!).

Then this one decided to pull out all the stops on the last day…

And just like that, I want a little girl again.

I think my husband might have whiplash from how often I change my mind…

Osage Hills State Park

We first went to the Osage Hills State Park, in NE Oklahoma when my oldest was around one month old (over 4yrs ago), it was his first hike.

Wow, that seems like a long time ago.

I was still recovering from his birth so we went on short hike down to the waterfall on the Falls Trail.

It was a beautiful hike and had lots of wildlife. It was the first time I had ever seen an armadillo and we actually saw several that day!

My oldest looking up at the bright sky! You have to start them young!

The deer seem to like the bird feeders near the park office, we saw several trying to get some of the fallen bird seed.

We went again two years and one more boy later.

We decided to take the Lake Trail and it was beautiful! We liked it so much we took my in laws to go hiking there when they visited later that month.

My little man enjoying the view with his Dad.

My oldest coming back after two years!

I cannot believe it has been two years since we have hiked there, time to head back that way!

Kauren’s Family~ Sapulpa Area Family Photography

Kauren contacted me because she wanted some family pictures before her husband headed back to Takoradi, Ghana West Africa, where their ministry is.

I am so glad I got a chance to take pictures of this growing family before he left.

You might remember this little man from his session in a white suit, he is going to be a big brother soon!

Such a good looking little man!

She has the most beautiful belly!

I love how the light just lit up the grass!

Flowers for the baby.

Still loves being tickled.

Beautiful family!
