RSU Conservation Trail~ Claremore, OK

The Rogers State University in Claremore has a 120 acre nature conservatory with trails that is open to the public.

I decided to go with my boys and check it out.

It ended up being a beautiful morning and not too hot!

Seeing this guy off the bat was a good sign I thought.

I took pictures of the trails so you would know what to expect.

There are some trails through grass that you can take so I would bring bug spray or wear pants if you want to take those.

A lot of them look like this.

Most are pretty short and easy so young children should not have a problem.

This is the wetlands area but since it has been so dry in Oklahoma lately there was no water.

I would like to go back when we have had some rain.

We saw egrets, ducks, and turtles at the pond.

We also saw a lot of deer!

My oldest did not want to leave, he thought we should see more animals since they seemed to be around every corner.

They have a lot of really nice signs to help you out.

I would love to go back.

It was an awesome education reserve and a beautiful walk.

If you live in the area you should definitely check this one out!

A Super party

My oldest just turned 5!

I had thought about a big party with lots of friends but I just could not get myself to plan it.

It is way too hot to have everyone outside also!

So he got a small party fit for a Superhero.

I like my banner!

It was one of the few decorations but my little man loved it so that is all that matters.

I realized I told them they could have mask minutes before his guest (he only got one) was to arrive.

So I got online, found a pattern, and scrambled to make two masks!

We also realized his cape that I made for his last birthday was missing.

Great.

Bandanna cape had to do.

I love these juice bottles from walmart!

My boy loves them and they go great with the theme.

This one left his mask on the WHOLE time!

I love that little cake covered hero.

She is known for her dainty eating…

We bought him his first camera for his birthday.

I love that he took a picture of his favorite girl and she posed for him.

I do not love that the same day he got the camera he left it in the dirt outside in the rain.

It survived.

He is older, he had a great time and he saved the day.

The end.
