Window Bird Feeder

windowfeeder2 windowfeeder3 windowfeederThis is one of those things I kept eyeing at Nature Center Gift Shops.

The bird feeder not the birds…

I kept thinking there was no reason for me to lay down the extra money to buy this one instead of just a hanging one.

It is awesome though!

The birds are so much easier to see!

The boys and I do not even flinch when we see a Cardinal anymore.

Now I just need to get one for every window.

I can even put them under “school expense”, what is more educational than bird study?

I will of course just add keeping them full to the boys chore list…

Do you have a favorite tool to view animals?

Just LOOK at the camera!

I decided it was time to replace Nick’s picture of us he keeps on his desk.

oldchristmaspicThis is the one I took for him in 2009!

I thought it would be cute to take the same picture again.

notlooking2 My boys on the other hand would not both look at the camera at the same time!

It was like they planned it!

notlookingI usually do not mind but I had an exact picture in mind.

When I finally got them to look, I realized my youngest was leaning forward a bit and was not in focus!

noinfocusSo we backed up a bit and tried again.

smilesThis is after I said, “SERIOUSLY! LOOK at the camera!”.

Imps…

back laughIt is amazing how happy my kids can look when my patience is about up.

I liked a couple of them and asked my husband which one he liked best.

He chose the picture of us sledding that he had taken the day before…

Oh well.

I kind of liked that one the best also.
