I have teased Nick about getting goats and sheep because it keeps the kids so entertained and calm.

We went from never going to pumpkin patches to going as much as we can!

You buy a sack of feed and have instant entertainment for close to an hour.

So nice.

Feeding and seeing ducks at the local pond has been a big hit also.

So now we need a pond with ducks obviously.

This was a hard month.

Nick went out of the country for 10 days and although his Mom came to help for most of those it hit our family hard.

It was rough.

I was so relieved when I saw him get off that plane.

Fair time!

Having a fair to go to for several days gave a big incentive to follow the rules and helped the girls work on staying in control while excited.

Plus, it let me take fair pics.

I love the colors, fun, and beautiful light of a summer fair.

We learned A LOT in this month.

Like my husband can never leave.
