An alarm rang on my phone.
I looked down to see what I was supposed to remember and smiled.
It said, “Appreciate the little things”.
My reminder every Monday morning to look for something in my day to remember, to document, to cherish.
The only thing was, that morning I was looking at this.
And a lot of this…
I was with my boys as they experienced the Grand Canyon for the first time.
I did not need the reminder that day.
I was cherishing every moment.
Look for a moment with me today.
Something precious and fleeting, little clothes in the laundry, little hands in yours, or maybe sharing in a first experience.
They are all beautiful.
We made a gingerbread house today. One of the best moments was when the children wandered downstairs in the morning and found the new snowman tablecloth… all the candy… the gingerbread kit. They were so genuinely excited… even my 10 year old 🙂 Sweet moments.
That sounds so beautiful! I have not done many Christmas activities this year!
