Looking back at these pics makes it hard to remember that these months were filled with hard days and harder nights.

Makes rough nights worth it.

Ten times over.

I love sleep so if you had asked me during I might not have been as upbeat.

Ha.

During rough moments my youngest boy showed me what love was.

He offered his hand to someone no one wanted to be near in that moment.

And he always seemed to be able to offer grace in those moments.

These moments.

So beautiful.

I want to learn from the others but remember these the most.

They might have to share a birthday but they did NOT want to share a cake.
