My friend and I are doing a photography project this week!
Having a friend to do one with is so much fun!
I really like a good challenge to help me improve my photography.
Do you give yourself a challenge to improve in an area?
Their dynamic is always changing.
Sometimes they get along really well and sometimes they argue from the moment they open their eyes.
Because we homeschool, they are together all the time.
Best friends(sometimes not by choice).
It makes me wonder what their relationship will look like as they get older.
Seeing those two heads stuck together planning is something I do not want to take for granted.
Dirty faces, forts, adventures, sword fights, light saber battles, running from the enemy…
Nicole over at Journey to Josie takes pictures on the 1st day of the month of what their day looks like.
I realized what seems mundane and boring today might be something I want to look back on and remember tomorrow.
When my boys are grown and move out I know I will really enjoy what a “boring” day looked like with them in it.
My half pint gets up and takes care of the dog.
I usually have to let her out before he gets up also though.
School time!
We spend about an hour and a half on reading, writing, grammar, and spelling.
Then the boys get a 15 min. break to eat a snack and play around.
Math starts right after break time.
I have found this is the best time for us to do it.
They have had a break and can concentrate better.
They are being introduced to symmetry.
I loved that they had them mirror one another!
So funny!
After school was all done I finally allowed myself to finish the story I was reading!
If I read before school then school does not happen…
After quiet time my oldest started on the dishes.
I could not resist a walk around our backyard.
The light was gorgeous and I needed out of the house.
My husband had come home really early but was trying to catch up on rest.
Had a movie night with my husband while the boys played in the other room.
This was a pretty lazy 1st day!
