I took pictures at a State Park recently.
I took a moment afterward to walk out to the point before my family and I started the drive back home.
I forget how much I miss walking outside alone.
What do you do to help you relax?
We got to take a tour of the Linnaeus Teaching Garden last week!
The tour is given by a volunteer.
Actually much of the work in the garden is volunteered and the plants donated!
There used to be a farm on the property so there is a windscreen of cedar trees.
One of them died so they had it made into this carving!
So neat!
Our tour guide was so full of information, she did a great job!
I just looked at some of the pictures my oldest took and they blew me away!
The close ups that he took are beautiful!
She let the kids all try a service berry.
The gardens are beautiful!
Feeding the fish.
The garden located next to Woodward park in Tulsa and has a storytime in the summer every Thursday morning!
If you live in the area, check it out!
Ray Harral Nature Park is a great place to go for easy trails in a beautiful setting.
The Nature Center is a great learning environment and it is located right in the city!
It is located east of Elm Place on 121st(Tucson).
You turn into the school to get to the main parking lot.
This is such a great time to go!
The weather is not too hot and the bugs are not too bad.
We saw a harmless Northern Rough Green Snake while on our walk.
There are a couple pavilions to eat at on the trail as well.
Everything is so pretty right now!
Do you live in the BA/Tulsa area?
Have you ever been to Ray Harral?
