As you can see from the title I just watched Roger and Hammersteins Cinderella.

A band was playing for a party, a gentle breeze was blowing, and the sun was setting and making the whole lake magic.
Perfect evening.
Because I could watch it from my bed and it was not in the middle of the night or early morning hours…
I had decided at this time in my life sleep was more important then watching the eclipse but when so many people were posting on facebook at an early time I thought I would just glance out my window.
If I could not see it I thought at least I had put forth some effort.
Sure enough this eclipse was perfect for the lazy watcher like me…
I took most of my pics while laying in bed.
I love that nature teaches with very little help from me.
On a trip to the Keystone Dam we were able to watch this line of Heron’s fishing.
My younger ones seemed the most awestruck by this.
Such a simple but beautiful lesson.
I am thankful that when I am at a loss the outdoors will bring teachable moments.
