My boys have not been to storytime since my youngest boy was in his fit throwing phase.
I don’t think he even remembers it.
My oldest thought some of the things were a bit silly for his age but they both really liked the parachute.
My youngest boy seemed to really enjoy the whole thing.
He just seems to enjoy life in general.
What a beautiful way to live.
It is always a bit bittersweet to see our back burning.
I know that getting rid of all of these leaves and dead grass might mean more wildflowers soon but it is hard to see it all gone.
I am hoping that burning the back will help with our grasshopper problem.
They have been everywhere in recent years and I think it might have to do with my asking Nick not to burn the back in the spring.
I guess I will find out in a few months.
This dog is odd.
She would lay down right in the fire’s path!

She also decided to use Nick as a resting post.

I will miss two boys begging to ride the train just “one more time”.
I will miss these trips to the zoo one day.
I want to cherish them now.
