Minnesota Trip 2016

We went straight from seeing my family in Indiana to Nick’s family in Minnesota.

Little bit was in her element.

My niece decided to teach the girls to ride a bike.

These girls are super cute together.

This is actually laughter with a good bit of fear mixed in.

They were not all that happy about him pulling them.

The girls got to meet Nick’s Grandma while up.

This was really important since she went to Heaven the next month.

I am so glad they got to know her.

Lots of fun was had.

Minnesota is definitely on my list of places I want to live.

I will do a seperate post of our trip to Itasca while there!

I took too many to share in one post!

Indiana Trip August 2016

I was trying to pick favorites for August of last year when I realized I had too many from our trip to see family.

So I decided to share them in a separate post instead.

This was the first time the girls met some family members.

At my parents house.

On a walk on the Vandalia Trail.

It’s always nice when your walk leads you to treats.

The boys were at church with my parents.

It is an hour away and the girls would have had to get up early and deal with a lot of new people at a new place so we decided to not go.

The walk was good for them.

We visited the Indianapolis Children’s Museum.

We also went to the state fair while there!

And celebrated this boys birthday.

Favorites from July 2016 ~Adoption

After seeing a neighbourhood parade, they wanted to do one.

If you are wondering why there are more pics of little bit, partly because she is next to me often, partly because I have already shared pics of her older brothers, and partly because the twins were working on problems they had throughout the day.

Emotions are hard for children to work through.

They are getting better at it though.

They were still in limbo during this time.

That is a hard place for kids to be.

After a rough day Nick told me to take this half pint and go.

Even a sassy toddler can be a nice break sometimes 😉
