Hi everyone! This is my youngest little man and he just turned TWO, watch out world! We went to the local farm store on his birthday to get his gift, I was planning on something pretty small and reasonbly priced. Then we saw the Rocking Horse (you know the big ones with springs that they can bounce on all day) and of course he and his brother went running up and each hopped on one. My husband looked at me and said all toys are 35% off, I asked okay, how much is it? It was more then I was going to spend, but I knew I could not tell those big blue eyes no. So I asked Caden, “do you want the horse?”. He goes, “yes, I love horse” and hugs it around the neck…yep, we now have a toy horse in our already crowded living room.

Christmas Train~ Dry Gulch USA
I grew up in the era of The Gospel Bill Show and The Gunslinger themed vacation bible school. So getting to actually go to Dry Gulch was like being a kid again! Willie George’s church puts together a great experience for the whole family with the Christmas Train, a western town lined in Christmas lights, lots of people dressed up and so friendly it makes you want to go to their church, a beautiful telling of the true meaning of Christmas and how to make a decision to change your life forever. The boys loved the train, carousel, and wagon rides, all of which are included in the ticket price. The atmosphere was so awesome it made you want to stay forever! You have to buy the tickets in advance and this year is booked but I recommend trying to make it out next year, we have been to many different Christmas programs and Christmas light displays but this was something completely different and I would love to see more events this put together, organized, and right to their purpose!
Frosty Mornings
It was such a beautiful morning I could not resist bundling up my two little boys, so I could go outside and take some pics! Fortunately I got some pictures unfortunately both boys ended up hating the cold and fussing. I was kneeling and laying on the frost covered ground, my knees got really cold but I think it was totally worth it! Besides, how else would I get the shot?
