Clark Kent

His Grandma and Grandpa got him a Clark Kent outfit for his birthday.

I am not sure who loves it more, him or me.

My oldest, “do you want to be Jerel?

My youngest,”yes”

My oldest, “Jerrel does not play with toys!”

My youngest, “I am KID Jerel…”

I stepped in at this point. I felt like if my youngest was going to outsmart my oldest he should win…

(Jerel is Superman’s father in case you do not have boys or maybe not a nerd like I was. I actually bought a spiderman shirt from the boys dept. and wore it to a party before I was married. What can I say, I am cool.)

He was telling me to stop.

I started humming the superman theme song.

I knew he would have to turn into superman if I did.

He was trying to hide his identity.

I am pretty mean like that.

I provoke my children a lot.

Seems like there is a bible verse telling parents not to do that…

Day 4

My little man requested a cabin for his birthday so we stayed in one at Robber’s Cave State Park over the weekend.

I brought his present to open.

It is an electronics set.

His dad has been building circuit boards and Justin has been helping him.

I thought he might like one so he can build some on his own.

He also asked to have his cake at the cabin.

Day 5

Swinging at the playground at the park.

Day 6

I did not end up getting a good pic of him yesterday!

This is one my husband took while we were hiking.

We drove home after this hike and I started getting ready for our 1st day of school that started the next day(today)!

I still like this one.

It is how I see him several times a day right now.

My little man is SIX tomorrow!

Day 2

He loves to take pictures.

He is so unafraid to try something crazy and fail when it comes to pictures.

I will see him do something like swing the camera around while taking a shot, he will look at what he took, smile, and delete it.

He was almost as happy as I was about finding the willow tree to take pictures in.

Day 3

“I like to bake because it is like a science experiment.”

I set up a tripod in my kitchen before baking just so I could have more pictures of my boys and I.

Check out more about a movement to get yourself in front of the camera, here.
