Two Rivers Trail ~Keystone Lake, OK

The Two Rivers Trail is located east of the Keystone State Park across the dam.

I have loved it since I stumbled upon it a couple years ago.

Most of it follows along the shore of the lake.

I would advise wearing pants and spraying yourself with some bug spray!

There is a lot of grass.

It is only about a mile on the part we go on but it is pretty rough hiking and so much fun!

Love hiking with my family!

Rockets Over Rhema ~Broken Arrow, Ok

We have attended Rocket’s Over Rhema for several years.

It is held by our church so I figure we really should go!

We do not usually stay for the whole thing but we do go to the patriotic tribute in the beginning.

Our Pastor’s, Pastor Kenneth Hagin and Lynette.

My favorite part!

There are live concerts going on outside.

This is the churches Axis Youth Band.

There are A LOT of people!

A small car show.

My boys were a little excited we bought them cotton candy.

I made sure it tasted okay for them.

It is the kind of parent I am.

I always go the extra mile…

My youngest lost his balloon minutes after getting it.

It took a little bit to get the lower lip to go back in.

I kept going on and on about how his balloon was flying so high.

What finally sold it was when I made up a story about a bird finding it and trying to figure out what it was.

So beautiful.

It is an amazing event, although a little bit crowded for my taste.

If you like fireworks and the excitement of big crowds, this is the perfect event for you!

Bell Cow Lake ~Chandler, Ok

We went to Oklahoma City on Father’s Day.

The drive home can be a little bit monotonous so my husband wanted to know if there was any place to stop and hike.

That is how we found Bell Cow Lake near Chandler, Ok.

It has two trails.

The Redbud Trail (22 miles) and the Flat Rock Trail (12.4miles).

We went around five miles total on the Flat Rock Trail.

These are both equestrian trails so they are pretty rough to walk on.

They both go around the lake though!

I love walking near water!

You could not see it the whole time but you could feel it in the air.

So nice!

They do charge an entrance fee so check out their site beforehand so you can have the right amount of cash.

It was a really nice surprise! Maybe we can make this a regular stop on the way back from OKC.

Maybe next time I will be prepared and not wearing sandals!

I felt exposed hiking in Oklahoma without my hiking boots!
