Favorites from April 2016 ~Adoption

Juggle Bubbles.

I like them because they have to be so careful to not pop them.

It is a great way to teach gentle.

Youngest three did an easter egg hunt.

Hiking at Keystone Ancient Forest.

Nick and our youngest boy did a trail run together.

My kids pretty much ran around like crazy on this little patch of grass while we waited for them to finish running.

Runners!

Hopefully we can do this again but with dad taking like 3 kids with him…

Leaving me with only 2.

I like those odds.

Parks

Last month we took the kids to the OSU Botanical Gardens.

I had been a couple of times with the boys in the like spring and summer but the girls had never been so we checked it out.

It was nice to walk around there even without the flowers blooming.

I like all the information they have around the gardens.

Little bit with her walking sticks.

It was a little chilly if you can’t tell.

Almost makes me want some chickens…

If someone else took care of them.

She was told to keep her fingers out…

I think that an insect hotel is such a fun idea but I am worried about the kinds of insects it would attract.

They have a fun kids playing area in the gardens.

Rainmaker

Playing in the little house.

Playing in the senses garden.

No smells right now since most stuff is dormant but the kids liked playing with all the things that make sounds.

It will be fun to go back in the spring!

Nick went on a business trip in March.

I had the girls help make cupcakes to welcome him home, also it might have helped them do well while he was gone 🙂

Little bit running to Nick at a race with her arms raised just makes me happy.

When he went on a longer trip my MIL came to help.

She and her husband both came actually.

She helped me with the girls and my father in-law took the boys.

He even stayed in our pop up camper with them!

They had such a great time and it made it so much easier!

The previous time he had gone on a long trip had been so hard that I was really not looking forward at all to this time but it went well.

Such a relief.
