My Love

So my husband was looking at my site the other day and noticed that there are no pictures of him…oops! I did a long post about him on Fathers day on my old site but have not put anything on here. I am fixing that right now! Being married to him is like getting a present, opening it and then it just continues to reveal new “gifts” the rest of your life. Things you did not realize that he was that you always wanted, things that you did not know you wanted that mean so much to you now and he is. I am blessed! God gave me total peace about marrying Nick and now I am getting more then I even knew to ask for in a husband. I take a lot of pictures of him since he is with me a lot when I am taking them…and well because he is really nice to look at!

Ice + Snow = Beautfiul!

We had some interesting weather down here in Tulsa, OK the past couple of days. It was in the 60’s one day then the next it dropped and freezing rain started, then the next snow. It was like a paradise for me and I loved getting to take pictures of a fairyland, I did finally figure out that I should wear the Carharts I own when I was out in the mornings laying on the ground in the snow, brr. But how else would I get my shot? The boys were really excited that we got enough snow to go sledding, it does not happen very often here and since I do not have to drive anywhere I say let it snow let it snow!

Capturing grumpy moments

So I am really big into capturing awesome expressions and those moments you want to keep with you forever, even if they may not be happy ones. I do not know how most feel about those little fussy moments and just plain cranky one’s but for me personally I think they are funny and hey they are going to grow out of those (hopefully) and you will have nothing to remember them by. The light yesterday afternoon was absolutely beautiful and my boys were not in the mood to stand still so I was a little excited when they both got in trouble and had to stand in one place! I know that sounds mean, oh well! I asked my husband can they stand right here? That way I can use the light…I got an odd look for that one. Here is to capturing pouty moments!
