    Busy Mornings and Pool time.

    Monday, July 31st, 2017

I took the kids to our church’s campmeeting for the morning services last week.

Which meant our afternoon’s were filled with getting school done(we are doing year round school).

We listened to a lot of audio books going to and from the morning meeting.

Thursday we ended up staying home and some of the kids played in the kiddie pool in the afternoon.

We have a LOT of cicadas right now.

It was a busy week but the kids had service also.

The kids enjoyed their service and I got a break almost everyday last week for an hour or so(which has never happened).

    Win win for everyone.

    Watermelon Days

    Friday, July 13th, 2012

    It is a tradition.

Every year I take pictures of my boys eating watermelon in the extreme heat of Oklahoma.

One of my strongest memories from my childhood is eating watermelon out on the porch on a hot day.

I think his big brother was being bossy.

I love little faces coated in watermelon juice.

I think I will make them do this when they are teenagers…

What makes you think of summer?

    Guinea Pigs

    Friday, July 1st, 2011

When I want to test out an idea for a shoot I have two little willing guinea pigs.

As long as it involves getting messy, getting wet, or eating…

If it involves sitting and smiling they are out of there.

They of course hated trying out water balloons for me.
