    Making Rice Crispy Treats.

    Wednesday, April 9th, 2014

ricecrispiesMy boys went crazy at Christmas for rice crispy treats.

But they had no clue what they were…

mixingI felt like they were missing a childhood right of passage.

    coonskinSo we made some.

oldestThey really liked that they could do most of it on their own.

eatingI think clean up was their favorite.

ricecrispies2I made them with this fruit loop type cereal because that is what I had.

    I would not recommend it.

    It was WAY to sweet!

cutNow my children have had a full childhood…

We did the microwave version found at the Kellog’s site.

    30 Day Project ~Life Day 3

I am already struggling to find genuine moments that I can set up a tripod to capture!

It is so much easier to just set up the tripod where I want it then put the boys into the shot.

We went hiking, grocery shopping, and to the library earlier in the day but I could not figure out how to get a shot of myself hiking with the boys without stopping what we were doing!

I guess it would not be a challenge if it was not challenging!

I let Justin set the time on his timer.

He uses it for quiet time.

For some reason it is a BIG deal when he gets to use it for other things as well.

    Rhubarb strawberry crisp, yum.

    Recipe, here.

    Random Friday

A piece of lace I bought at a garage sale and threw over my mirror.

Perfect place for hanging my delicate earrings.

Too cheap to buy a real curtain for our porch.

I finally got the cinnamon roll I have been craving for months!

Not the same as my mom’s fresh from the oven but still good.
