I am a wife, homeschool mom, a hiker, and a photographer living in Oklahoma. I love beautiful light and being in the woods. I share what I love on this blog, be they trails, pictures, or homschooling curriculum. Thanks for stopping by!
My boys were out playing in the beautiful weather we are having right now in Oklahoma the other night. I could have stayed out all night, so gorgeous! Anyway, my oldest got in a little bit of trouble so I made him sit next to me.
He was hopeful when I started taking pictures that he was not really in trouble.
Then he found out he really was in trouble and I am just mean.
Then he forgot it all when he realized we were sitting in the spot on the driveway that echo’s.
To my delite…I mean chagrin…oh forget it! I was happy that Caden got in trouble also! He was not happy with his camera happy mother though.
“I don’t want you to take my picture”
And being the nice mommy I am I just kept on snapping. He is cute when he is mad!
Then there is this beautiful little boy! He does not actually mind me that much!
I can’t decide which one I like more?
I have to capture these moments for posterity and blackmail.
I call them my test subjects/models or in other words good friends. My boys think they should see lily once a week and start going through withdrawal if it has been too long!
I think we have really dug a big hole now though, they went to the Illinois River Balloon Fest with us and I am a little worried that the boys might think Lily and Ava should come to every festival with us from now on.
The boys and Lily got to go on their first Carnival rides! It was a little unnerving for me to watch my son “give” Lily a ride.
Then I got to take some really casual family pictures! They were so much fun!
Most of the family. The two older one’s were out riding and rides and walking around.
Dreaming of her turn? More pictures and information about the Balloon Festival coming Friday!
